That'll be interesting to see what they decide. I think the vote will be close.

Yeah if the polls are just kind of correct, It'll be extremely close.
I'm really curious as to how the aftermath will be handled. If they vote tips towards staying, there will still be a lot of people who want to leave, how will they react in the future? Simply accept the vote, or just keep campaigning until they get what they want. If the vote turns to leaving, I fear Britain is in for a messy couple of years, politically and socially.

If they vote to leave they'll probably never get back in even if some people wanted them to. I think they should stay but obviously it's not up to me.

Why wouldn't they be allowed to re-join?

The President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker who being un-elected will become a virtual dictator as the EU grabs more powers. He has made it quite clear there will be no re-negotiations, no reforms or no anything - we should be just be good little peasants and stay in our place, and he has also made ominous threats towards Britain if we do leave.
I really hope we stick two fingers up at him.

The President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, who being "execuitive" (un-elected) is set to become the virtual dictator of Europe as th EU grabs more and more powers.
He has made it very clear there will be no re-negotiation, no reforms or no anything. WE should all be good little serfs and stay quietly in our place. Indeed he has even made some very threatening hints towards Britain if we do vote to leave.
I really hope that as a nation we stick two fingers up at him.

The vote's in; Britain is leaving the EU. Cameron will be stepping down (he gave an emotional speech early Friday morning), but him and his cabinet will remain in office for the next 3 months, until a fitting successor can be elected. Only after that, I think, will the proper procedures for leaving begin, and I've heard that it might take 4 years, or thereabouts before Britain is completely free of the EU.
Because of the vote, stock markets around the world have been seeing huge drops all Friday morning, and the Pound is at its lowest level against the Dollar since 1985. The drops were not unexpected, but still surprised many with how far they actually did drop.
The Governor of the Bank of England held a press conference and assured the British people that they are perfectly capable of maintaining a healthy economy through the next years.

Wow what a night and day it's been ! I hope the market drop is a short term thing while the shock sinks in . It's the right decision for our country . The people have spoken

Some of the stocks that dropped earlier have begun recovering. The drops were expected, if the vote was for leaving, but still surprised many by their severity. I think most of them are expected to recover, at least in the short term. The demographics for the vote also really surprised me. United no more it seems: If there was another Scottish independence vote tomorrow, the result might be different. The Guardian has also posted a good analysis of the results and demographics. You can for instance see what your area voted, and which parts of society voted for leaving/staying. www.theguardian.com/politics/ng-interactive/2016/jun/23/eu-referendum-live-results-and-analysis
