If your mother was anything like mine then she probably had a ton of little secret recipes or unique food stuffs she'd like to make. So let's share all the crazy things our old mothers used to make.
1. Marmite egg *Vegimite in some regions
Make scrabbled egg and add 1 soup spoon full of marmite. Wisk and then cook. Simple. Sounds horrible but was actually really nice.
2. Cloud Sandwiches
Make the marmite egg mix but then pure onto a sourcer. Microwave for 1 minute and put into bread.
3. Brassalia Briss (A Lebanese type of stew)
Fry minced lamb in a sourcepan with onion. When brown, put into a big stewing pot and fill with water. Add 2 tubes of minced tomato, garlic and coriander. After 20 minutes add a little black pepper and salt. The put many chopped carrots and peas into the stew and boil until the carrots become soft. Add more chopped coriander leaves and stir. Put in the oven for an hour. When ready simply serve with rice.
