How come some of you guys want your steaks well done? Among steak connoisseurs, getting a steak well done is almost blasphemy.

Well done is too chewy, but I don't like rare either.

Does anyone else have to have their meat cooked well done?I can't have any meat that's rare or medium rare,or else I will get a stomach ache,does anyone else have this problem too? Myself and my wife are the same as you freetobeme , our meat has to be well done not rare or medium. I even like the likes of sausages and bacon burnt a little and sometimes you can hear Liz muttering in the kitchen when cooking sausages "Damn it...I have burnt your sausages." My reply is simply "That will do me honey."  One of my favourite meals is sausages, bacon, eggs and chips with some black pudding and Scottish Haggis that's made me hungry now just mentioning that.  |
