I’m sure we all have one book or one series we love to re-read over and over again. That being said what are yours?
Mine would have to be Louis Lowry’s classic The Giver. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone through the pages of it and it’s sequels: Gathering Blue, The Messenger, and Son. As for why I like it I can’t really say.
I was introduced to it in middle school. It was a book we were forced to read by the teacher. Everyone else pretty much hated it, but I liked it for some odd reason. Maybe it was because of how different the community (utopia) was. For people who haven’t read them I would highly recommend them. All four books have a different protagonist; however Jonas from the first book makes an appearance in everyone kind of tying them together as a quartet.
