What are you thoughts on it?
After watching the trailer sometime earlier this year I honestly didn't think it was gonna be that great. I wasn't into the whole "futuristic" thing and thought it was the only thing they had left. I treated it like a gag really.
But I've played it several times now on PC and boy is that game fun. All the things that I thought were gonna make it a crappy game actually made it a lot more fun. It is a very fun game. Caught me off guard.
I will say though, one character in particular might get a lot of flak since he'll be regarded as OP but I mean really... There's matchmaking there for a reason. And most times if one team has the fabled OP character, then the game will do its matchmaking thing and put another OP character on your team. So yeah.
Black Ops 1 will for me be a classic and I can't see any other versions of COD beating it.
A few of the new things introduced to me in BLOPS 3 that I liked was definitely the sliding. If used right, you can use it to get to cover safely, also rush into rooms and around corner taking enemies by surprise. You can also reload whilst sliding which I think is GREAT.
The wall running, now this is something that I thought was going to hardly be used by anyone unless of course it was to get around a specific part of the map that was tailored towards wall jumping. But a few very good players know how to incorporate the Slide, Wall run and Thruster packs very efficiently. And it looks so cool so you can hardly get mad when someone kills you with style.
Speaking of the thruster packs, this was the third thing that I thought was gonna be really stupidly done with no real use. But in reality I couldn't be more wrong.
Love this game, took me by surprise and ended up being one of the funnest games for me to play this year.
