Yeah, the N64 controller was uber weird. A lot of controllers for old systems were weird. Yeah... Like the Virtual Boy.

xD The N64 by far has one of the most bizarre shaped controllers of all time. I remember back when I first played the N64 for the first time, I was like "How am I supposed to hold it?" It all depends on if you're left handed or right handed. While playing the Turok series, I always have to change the controls so I can use the C buttons as a d-pad since I'm right handed.

The N64 controller was a product of its time I think. Befor the Xbox/PS2 era gaming companies were extremely experimental. Yes I myself have always wondered why they shaped the controller that way, it was the 1980's so video games weren't super popular then, however the N64 did become fairly popular. Dude, the 80's were like the Video Game Golden Age. Gaming hasn't seen a time like that since. If you could code half decently, you were a developer. Game devs employed by publishers wore whatever they wanted to, to work and pumped out best sellers single handedly. Small rant, but it's besides the point since the N64 was released in like 1996.

I think it's possible to play N64 games on mobile (emulator). I don't know why someone would want to play an N64 game on a phone screen though, it would be way way too small.

It was an odd shape for a controller, but if I remember right I used to like it, and I found it comfortable to hold. Wow, although I do not play games consoles any more, and did not play them loads and loads before, I find myself sort of missing the Nintendo64 and the Nintendo super nes and I kind of what to have them for some reason. I probably just miss playing them them with family, rather than actually miss the consoles themselves. I have some fond memories of playing them with the family when I was younger, especially over summer when school was off

I was a huge Nintendo fan as a kid, I loved their consoles and games. Now I don't play them much anymore but I still have good memories of them.

I think it will be possible (about playing N64 games on phone). Not sure about that.
