I don’t really play too many phone games because it eats my battery. However, I absolutely adore the new Japanese game Sailor Moon Drops (Sērā Mūn Doroppusu). It’s basically Candy Crush Saga, but with Sailor Scouts and pretty gems! <3 As you battle your way through levels you unlock Sailor Scouts and character scenes. They also run special events for ‘limited-time’ characters. A few weekends ago they hosted an event where you were trying to unlock Princess Serenity. (I never did get her and yes…I’m still bitter over it.) As you play through the levels get more demanding. You have the gems either stuck in ice, blocks you have to destroy before the gems can move, specific items you have to collect, and my personal favorite timed levels. Each level has their own number of moves you can make some shorter than others. All-in-all it is addicting and insanely adorable! Did I mention they have the Japanese voice cast of SM Crystal as well? ^w^

I've never heard of this game before, maybe I'll have to look at it in the App Store.

You might have to make a Japanese account over on Google to install it and get it to work properly. If you don't I think it will be region locked. :/

Oh it's an android game? I only have apple devices so that won't work for me.
I don't even know why region locking exists anyway.

That game sounds awesome! Especially since I'm a big Sailor Moon fan. I don't play phone games, but if I were to ever get into them, I'll make sure to get this one! Unlocking Sailor Scouts along the way is definitely interesting.

IT IS! ^.^ Not only do you unlock them, but you level them up to get special attacks - which help when breaking blocks and such. You also unlock puzzle pieces the more levels you go through. So far I think there are 4 different puzzles available.

Why is it only available on Japanese android phones. It's actually for both iOS and android. As for why it's only in Japanese is probably because it's only about a month old and it's voice acted by the cast of the new anime Sailor Moon Crystal. I think it would be nice if Viz, the company re-releasing the Sailor moon Franchise, could maybe bring it state side. I mean it's really, really, addicting. <3
