What kind of books are you interested in? I'm interested in crime and mystery novels. I also like mystery books.

I really like Agatha Christie in particular but I feel like I have to keep up to date with more recent mystery books.

She writes a series of murder mysteries with two different main characters. I only enjoy reading the ones starring Hercule Poirot though, for some reason.

She writes a series of murder mysteries with two different main characters. I only enjoy reading the ones starring Hercule Poirot though, for some reason. I always liked the Hercule Poirot books best, too, but there are more than 2 main characters. Besides Poirot, there's Miss Marple and a husband/wife team called Tommy and Tuppence. All these were written in the 1930s and 40s .. some 50s. The "earlier more innocent time" is one thing that makes them so appealing. The other .. they're just cracking good mysteries. Don't feel bad if you can't guess who-dunnit though .. she always left out an important piece of information or two. Which book is your favorite? Have you seen any of the movies?

jencin,I'm so glad you're an Agatha Christie fan too ! I agree tgat the innocence is one of the gems of reading her novels. She holds the title of Queen of detective novels rightfully, if you ask me. My favourites are Murder on the Oriental Express, Death on the Nile and The Murder of Roger Ackroyd. I'm not a fan of movies but I did see the Murder on the Orient Express adaptation.
