I'm probably horrifically unqualified to talk about user friendliness. I'm a life long Xbox, and Windows user, and relatively recently, a Windows Phone user. In the last few years, Microsoft has streamlined their OS's across all platforms, meaning whether you're on your phone, Xbox or PC, the basic software is the same. So everything looks, and works similarly. It's most likely why Win 10 feels natural to me.
I'd love to offer an objective perspective, but subjectively speaking, Win 10 Is a piece of lovely software. It works well, few bugs, good performance. Simply, a solid product.

I know some people who still use the old windows XP, I always found XP slow though. which is why Win7 still works fine for me.

Still don't have win 10. I keep putting of downloading it. I guess I'm worried that it's going to mess up the system.

I just generally don't like software updates ( unless it's for my iPad or phone, then I'll update it then )

Not sure. My desktop is 8.1 and the laptop I'm on now is a 7. The Windows 10 message keeps popping up but I keep ignore it. I'm afraid especially on this older laptop the upgrade might kill it since it has a hard time anyways. :/
